RiverbankJourney Journal.31/12/2007 - I started this tank for my gf. It is suppose to be a low maintenance tank.
Equipment : 60cm x 30cm x 30cm
Presurized CO2 tank with solenoid valve
Substrate : Holland Sand and mixture of various base fertilizer
Lighting : 1 PLL 36w
Filtration : Hang-on-filter.
DIY : Fan
Hardscape : Ohko Rock
Flora : Microsorium pteropus, Microsorium pteropus narrow leaf, Ludwigia repens, Alternathra ...., Rotala macranda green, Microsorium pteropus windelov, Glossostigma elantinoides, Echinodoron tenellus, Crytocoryne Affinis, Sagittaria subulata, Anubias barteri var. nana petite.
Fauna : Serpae tetra, Neon tetra & Otocinclus Affinis.
31/3/2008 - Added Cardinal Tetra & Siamese Algae Eater. My Hang On Filter malfunctioned hence this tank is without filtration for 2 months. I make sure there is water movement by using air pump for bacteria growth and weekly water change.
28/5/2008 - For this combo photos, i used 2 PLL 36w.
29/5/2008 - Since the left side is still dark, added 1 PLL 18w. Trimed rotala macranda for final photos to IAPLC.
The photo I submitted to IAPLC is not here. Will crop it later and post. All the best to participants of IAPLC. Goodluck and congratulations.
